Dwarves have some good booze and could make decent friends if needs be. Once when I was traveling and stopped at a small dwarven tavern, they sang songs and laughed the night away.
Song's of war and a barrel of Durin's Folk brew are enough for the Dwarves of this great city after long day's in the deep mines, always cheering, dancing, eating and sharing stories of what they find in the seemingly endless cavern's that flow beneath. The king, Values honor above all and loyalty to his people, no stranger to the sword as he will always be found in front alongside his men the (Doom Guard) whom he considers his brothers. Friendly to all and slow to anger, if you see his banners on the horizon it is for good reason. Leading the grand armies of Durin's Folk is general Mad Mardigan, all that is known of his past is he was orphaned by war, Durin scouts discovered him in a massacred human village from a orcish raiding party. From then on he was raised by cousins of the royal family and always treated as an equal among the dwarves. Durin's folk gates are always open to friends or traders and even the occassional drifter. So kick up your boots, have some brew and puff some halfling leaf.
